HOW HEAVY IS THE CHALLENGER? Despite its impressive array of capabilities, the Challenger 1/2 h.p. version weighs in at just 66 lbs, well below a standard rotary machine. Since rapid orbital movement is so much more efficient than slow rotary movement, a standard Challenger is able to outwork motors 50% - and even 100% - greater in horsepower. The Challenger with the optional 3/4 h.p. motor weighs just six lbs. more. The larger motor might be your choice if your work is more frequently in large commercial facilities as opposed to private homes.
